Hi !

Here I am, finally ! Been lurking for a while, but was kind of unsure about introducing myself.

I’m a Portuguese guy, been living in sunny Singapore for the past 5 years.

Currently I am 30yrs old, 1,70m (around 5’6’ ?) tall, weighing 69kg (almost 140 pounds) , 23% of which are body fat. I am not unfit, but could certainly use reducing the BF ! grin
My goal is to get to 67kg and 15% body fat by July.
Last year I was already trying, with lots of help from Scott’s voice in the podcast. Managed to get it down to 67kg and 21% but lost control over Xmas.

Now I am back to controlling my diet, practising Hot Yoga (Bikram Yoga) and am considering some light running to help shed the fats. On the weekend, it’s almost a religion to play beach volleyball.
For the diet, I am not doing anything major, just watching how much I eat, keeping to the 12-hr diet and make sure I drink about 2liters of water everyday.

I hope to join all the like minded people here, and succeed with all of you in feeling better, looking better and living better !
Especially, I would love to get some tips on losing body fat, maybe through running. And I suppose that to lose BF and not lose weight overall, one needs to lift weights ?

Cheers
Nuno

Hey Nuno

Glad to see you stopped lurking and have jumped into MTM Land. Ok course, since I’ve read a letter or two of yours on the show folks will already know a little about you.

That darn 12-Diet thing really works doesn’t it?  Just by eliminating 1/2 the day it makes a diet much more easier to handle.  It also works inline with the bodies natural systems.  I can’t tell you how many emails I get from folks getting results from that simple change.

I’m not but I’m sure some of the folks around here will give you some ideas.  And yes… you’ll probably need to lift some weights to lose that BF and keep your weight up.
