*Sigh* LOL. There are five billion things happening in my life right now and trying to get through it all… Yes I am still alive. And kicking. Sorry for not posting as much (or not at all-LOL) in the past few months.

I haven’t fallen off the wagon as I would say in the past ,and I am still doing the gym thing. My nutrition isn’t always the best though. I know I have to work on that.

Glad to hear from you, Dave.

I was down in the dumps today for no good reason and I’m having a somewhat hard time readjusting to normal life, but by everyone’s standards, I’m doing great. I ran a 5K in May and won my division. I did a 100 m sprint in June and won there too (not a lot of competition). I just got back from a 2 week cruise in the Baltic, enjoyed myself and managed to gain only 2 pounds. I worked out consistently on the ship. My progress in building strength is slow but my expectations are high. My husband and I celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary today. My world is good.

As the story goes… I’ve gone and have come back. It seems like a cycle for me. But as the weather starts getting colder (we’ve already had snow here in Central Ontario), I’ve had the urge to get back to my old ways. I’ve been hard at work for the past couple of months on my workouts.

Hopefully I’ll be able to keep on posting to this site and updating you guys on my progress.

I haven’t reached my goals yet, and I am not going to create new ones… I guess Ill just pick up where I left off!

This past weekend was my 25th birthday, and I got myself a snowboard to learn on this year ( I have a ski hill just 10 minutes away from my house). I’m getting super excited about the upcoming boarding season. And once the spring rolls around, I’ll be joining the local rowing club…
