Hmmm...not sure if this is where this goes but we’ll give it a shot!

I keep hearing we need to get in some protine after a workout to help build muscles...and as i’m usually starving after a workout I think its a great idea.  But I can’t find anything that really works for me.  I’ve tried some bars, but they’re so high calorie ....and I haven’t found a really great low cal one. I’ve tried some low cal cheese and crackers but I’m looking for some more protien.. Maybe someone here has some idea for me

you could try protien powder, go for classic whey by optimum nutrition, at 120 calories per serving you cant go wrong!

I like the yogurt smoothie shakes. I keep one in a cooler in the truck for after my gym sessions, I love how cold and creamy it is and feels great on my throat. That and I’m too tired to chew.

It’s important to know that at the end of the day it’s not the medals you remember.  What you remember is the process-- what you learn about yourself by challenging yourself, the experiences you share with other people, the honesty the training demands—those are things nobody can take away from you whether you finish last or you’re an Olympic Champion.

To tri is to risk failure, not to tri is to guarantee it!

Protein shake (I prefer the protein blend from Alltheywhey.com) right after a workout, and wait about an hour before eating anything else.
