Hi,

I haven’t seen any mention or thread about Saturday (except for Scott’s) so I thought I would start one.

I am going, who else is?

It’s important to know that at the end of the day it’s not the medals you remember.  What you remember is the process-- what you learn about yourself by challenging yourself, the experiences you share with other people, the honesty the training demands—those are things nobody can take away from you whether you finish last or you’re an Olympic Champion.

To tri is to risk failure, not to tri is to guarantee it!

I would love to be there.  It would be great to meet all the MTMers from California, and Scott and Joi too.  Unfortunately, the travel time from Ankara is a little too long to do over a weekend.  I need 3 days just for travel.

Have a great time M - I didn’t know (or didn’t remember) that you were another Californian.

Hi M -

I’ll be there ... it’s not too much of a drive, much closer than trying to get to Florida.

Tom - I think it’s Pinot, some whites, and great bubbly.

oh ... a camera ... dang, but I always forget those contraptions ... then when I do take them, I don’t do anything with the pictures (I don’t think I’ve ever printed a digital picture).  It was especially bad when we still used film ... I think I found a roll of film from at least 8 years ago that’s never been developed.

I’ll have my husband remind me ...

Ada,
Yes please take some pictures and email them to Bree.  I would love to see some pictures from this MTM get together.  Take lots of pictures.  I will be waving from Oswego, Illinois.  Have lots of fun talking and siping wine.  Sounds like a great time in the making.

I was there with my husband James (we are the ones standing in the photo Scott posted)

It was wonderful to meet some fellow MTM people, share stories and yummy champagne!

Bree -

standing ... Aimee and James

sitting ... dark hair (can’t see the grey) with blue top ... me
guy, sitting in foreground, my husband Steve (who was a very good sport today)
Behind Steve in Purple is M
to my left is Schuyler, next to him is his girlfriend (and I’ve just blanked out on her name).

You’ll find Priscilla in the group picture on the link that Scott provided.

Episode 91 is out on ITunes, and it’s the program provided on the website already.
