In the morning it’s gotta have caffeine - so I like Pike’s Place Market Spice or Irish Breakfast.
In the afternoon or evening I stick with no caffeine. I like teas that are sweet without having to add sugar or sweetener. Celestial’s Bengal Spice - it has black pepper in it! - and Wild Cherry Berry. Stash Blueberry, Bigelow Perfect Peach and Stash Passion are in my drawer at work and my cupboard at home.
I also make sun tea, except here in Juneau we don’t have sun. So I just put a bunch of bags in a pitcher in the fridge overnight and it seems to work out.
That all sounds so yummy Laura. I’ll definitely look closer in the tea aisle next time. OK, blond here, so can you make sun tea with any kind of tea bag? I used to make it for my hubby, and there’s plenty of sun in Tennessee. I’ll send some up to you. Along with the flippin heat and bugs, and poisonous spiders and snakes. Nevermind, I’m coming up there.
I’m a huge tea fan. I’m in love with green teas, but just about anything is good. My favourites at the moment are chai teas (my boyfriend swears by Celestial Seasonings Original India Spice, and I’ve been looking all over for Celestial Seasoning Bengal Spice without success) and President’s Choice Morrocan Mint Green Tea (President’s Choice is the house brand for Provigo / Loblaws). When I don’t want caffein, I’ll generally choose a lemon-honey or raspberry herbal tea.

Emmi, love your hat too.

Thanks Bree.
You can make sun tea from just about any tea. I’ve tried several different kinds. I have a huge canning jar that I use just for this purpose. I leave it in the sun on my balcony while I’m at work all day. I’ve used regular tea, green, fruity, they all work and make a delish tea to enjoy later over ice.
As Emmy said, any kind works. Only instead of using a jar like she does, I just put it in my plastic pitcher and put it in the fridge overnight.
I hope you were serious about coming up… I could put all that new cardiac capacity of yours to work on the trails around here, and then we could go to the coffee shop and have tea…
