Friday, August 1 - Yardio - got the lawn mowed just before the thunder storm rolled in.

Saturday, August 2, - Hardio - scrubbing floors, up and down stairs many times.  Rained in the evening, used as an excuse not to walk.

Nice pics of Maine.  New England lighthouses are so charming.  My friend bought one, just southeast of Boston, and operates it. The state offsets his costs with no taxes. Nice.

Very cool! It must be interesting owning and operating a lighthouse.

Went to the gym (because it is raining again) to do cardio.  Did 60 minutes on the treadmill with some help from my newly downloaded Mamma Mia soundtrack.

Good job Eileen.  You’re about 7 lbs ahead of me.  Bet you can get below 200 before me. (That is a challange to help you find your click!)

After some early morning rain, the skies cleared and we had sunshine all day.  cool smile

So I got in a nice walk this evening, about 3.3 miles.

Was tired because I hadn’t slept well the last couple nights, but the sun was out so I had to get out.  Took about a 40 minute walk.

I looked at the 10 day forecast and the first day not showing any rain is day 9.  So it may be back to the gym tomorrow.

Hope you get some good weather sooner than 9 days from now. If you get that much rain, we will too and I have too much yard work to do for it to rain that much.

Congratulations on holding your weight while on vacation. And it’s good that you’ve noticed that your eating habits have changed. I do think it helps to celebrate every positive change.

Well we did have rain today, in the morning and a shower in the afternoon.  The skies were questionable when I got home so I headed for the gym.  Warm up on the elliptical then biceps, triceps, leg curls, leg extensions, hip ab/aductors, shoulder press, chest press, lat pull down.  Some I did 3 sets of 12, some 2 sets of 20.

Thursday, Aug 7th - Scheduled rest day

Friday, Aug 8th - not sure if I will get formal exercise in.  Of course it is raining plus I need to get my weekend chores done tonight as I will be working at the MS Bike-a-thon this weekend in the central part of the state.  Which means I don’t know about tomorrow either.  We will be staying in a college dorm on Saturday night so maybe there will be time during the day to take a walk around the campus.

How was your weekend? Did you get to walk the campus and see the sights?

Happy Day!

Just a quick note to let you know I am still alive and kicking.

Since I last posted I have:

Made the decision to sell my house
Got my house ready to sell
Put the house on the market.
Sold the house
Went to view several condos.
Bought a condo
Sorted through everything in my house and got rid of a ton of stuff
Got most of my stuff packed.

Oh, and during the same time period I have been working on a couple big projects at work that have meant extra hours.

So, I am way behind on the podcasts, I haven’t had time to even come and visit the forum.  but the good news is that I have maintained my weight - even lost a pound or two.

The closings for the house and condo are in 2 weeks.  Once I get moved in and settled I will be back.

See you then.

Eileen - that’s a whole lot of stuff that you’ve been up to!  And losing weight at the same time?  I am envious of your energy.
