Sorry for being gone Candy. Our garage was finished, so we have been moving stuff all week long (no I haven’t officially exercised, but moving furniture down one set of stairs and up another should count!). Then yesterday I helped my parents move the last of their furniture into storage. Needless to say, I’m quite sore today.
Tonight is the last time I’ll see my parents until October. They ship out tomorrow. I know change is good (Sean!) but it’s also hard.
On another topic, we moved my parent’s treadmill into our new workout room and moved our treadmill in there. Now my husband and I can walk/run together!
Thank you for the words of encouragement! It means a lot to me!
Okay....I don’t know what day I’m on and I don’t think I should keep counting since I’ve been MIA for a while. My parents moved yesterday. I didn’t feel much like doing anything yesterday or today. Tomorrow morning I’m going to try to get up early and run/walk with Mike in the morning.
Day 31 and Day 32:
My dear hubby and I moved 12 yards of crushed concrete by hand all day saturday and sunday. For those of you that aren’t sure how much a year is, let alone 12, 12 yards is equivalant to a dump truck full of crushed concrete. Needless to say my arms are a bit sore today! It wasn’t too hot in the mornings, but the humidity killed me. I was dripping sweat...not a pretty site!
Vacation was awesome!!! We did A LOT of riding....but I also made sure we got our walking in. We did quite a bit of walking at the Rock N Roll hall of fame. My friend had a hard time walking, so I walked a bit without her. She’s looking at getting the lap-band. While I have no problem with someone getting the lap-band as long as they realize it isn’t an answer, it’s just a tool. So they don’t depend on it too much. I’m afraid she is starting to see it as a “fix”.
We also walked around town and Bronner’s Christmas store! Okay, I’m going to try to add some pictures here....
There’s a picture of the arch, the glove statue from the rock and roll hall of fame, the house of A Christmas Story, and a lighthouse from the coast of Lake Superior!
The flight back was horrible. It was supposed to land at 2:20, but we landed at 6:30. We were an hour late landing, then we couldn’t land in Houston, so we were diverted to Austin for refueling. So, it was a big pain!!
Hey, Tammy. Looks like you had a great trip. If I had know you’d be in Cleveland (my city) I would have met you and given you a personal tour. Next time let me know!
