JULY 8 DAY 18
I finally got my gift registries done. My head was just swimming when I left the mall.
Yeah, but that’s the best part!
Okay, seriously, I know this is stressful this wedding planning stuff, but how amazing are you that you’re still getting the one thing done that is all about Emmi - your workouts. The one thing that is going to give you the strength and stamina to pull this stuff off and still be joyful on your wedding day, and the one thing that takes all those nasty stress hormones right out of your blood system and replaces them with endorphins and other cool stuff. Girl, you rock!
I’ve been out of commission the last few days. I sprained my ankle this past weekend. I was getting off my Fi’s Harley and I totally wiped out on it bending it the WRONG way. OUCH! So now I have a brace on it and I am keeping it elevated and iced. At least I can still get to my job, so I’m not losing any free days but I am losing out on movement. Believe me, this is not fun! I’d much rather be moving!
Emmi - that stinks!! I hope it is just a minor sprain. Keep it elevated and wrapped as much as possible. My left ankle is permanetly a bit “fatter” than my right from my sprain about 8 years ago.
Take this time to focus on ab/core and upper body work. Maybe some swimming if you are comfortable enough to just use your arms to swim. Kicking with a sprained ankle really hurts!!
