Saturday
The weather was cooler than it has been so I threw the iPod on and spent 45 minutes walking and jogging around the neighborhood.
No weights today.
I hope the weather stays this way.

Last week was such a hectic mess.  I was too tired to post.  My gym out puts were meh to say the best.  But I’m going to change that this week.  This week at work is going to be a lot better...I can already tell.
MONDAY
I did 2 hours of yardio.  The temperatures dropped to 73 degrees....the perfect chance to go get some much needed yard work done.  I think I may make Monday my yardio day.  It lets me avoid the packed-like-sardines gym and still get a workout in.  Not to mention I’m not so tired from the work week.
I had to attack the holly bushes that grow outside my house.  They are monsters this year.  One day I came home and they were taller than my house....it seemed like overnight.
They got so bad that my postman stopped delivering my mail.
I’ve heard about the rain, sleet, snow, gloom of night thing, but who knew the postal service drew the line at holly bushes.
Oh, well....It’s cleared out now.  I expect about a week’s worth of bills when I get home this afternoon.

Oh, and for Bree, PHOTO ALERT.
I finally got my She Wants Revenge pics up on my myspace page.  I ran out of batteries too quickly, so there’s not many pics.  But there’s a new pic of me and a few friends that you may like Bree.

Sounds like a good plan to do yardio on Monday. As long as you keep moving. Thanks for the pics.

Good job on the yardio Chad, I’m suprised there were no party favers or revelers involved, and most of all you didn’t try to beat up the postman! LOL

I saved that all for after the yard work!!!

TUESDAY
Tonight I went to the gym and just focused a little on weights...legs and shoulders.
I bought some new shoes this weekend and they rubbed blisters on my heels...I really wanna hit the treadmill, but I need to let those heal.  But I figured as long as I did the weights, I could keep some momentum.

Between the staph infection and the Cloverfield Monster sinus attack, I have been couched way too long.
I have put on over 12 pounds.  Ugh.  The staph couched me over 4 weeks.

I really have to get on the ball...or the treadmill, as it is in this case.

If the staph is gone that’s a major major accomplishment. I had a friend on IV at home for over a month and out of work for several months with a staph infection. I wasn’t going to tell you that earlier.

Good luck with the project manager job.

Don’t worry about the 12 lbs.  Once you’re able to workout again you drop it right away.  I’m glad you free of that nasty staph.

Wednesday
I decided to take it easy tonight with a rest day.
The thing is, is I really wanna go do something...maybe a walk.
I put in 11 hours at the office with no lunch break.  A new process is launching Sunday, so I have so many deadlines Friday.  At 10 this morning, I felt like it was 4:00.  I was like, really, it’s only 10?  Really?
But I didn’t mind staying at all.  My new position is so fun....well, maybe fun’s not the word.

My only regret is I didn’t make it to the comic book store before it closed.  I’m reading a very funny zombie comic called EVERYBODY’S DEAD.  It’s about a bunch of frat boys who survive a military indueced disaster that turned rest of the world into zombies.  The tag line is “These are the last people on earth who should be the last people on earth”.
Funny stuff.
In the last issue, one of the frat brothers got turned to a zombie and no one wants to kill him so to keep him subdued, then make him smoke pot and watch GARDEN STATE over and over.
But of course the plan fails, they only resulted in giving the zombie brother the munchies!

Oh, well...I’ll pick it up tomorrow.

And for the good news...I think my blisters are almost healed...well, healed enought that if I use two band-aids, I can probably do the treadmill tomorrow...I’m so in need of it.

Sounds like a great comic, is it underground or main stream, who writes it?

I guess it’s pretty underground.  It’s written by Brian Lynch.  It’s from the IDW publisher.

Hello, everyone!!! Happy Fourth!!!

I just wanted to drop by to say I know I haven’t been posting lately and I may be away for another week or so.  You can call off the MTM mafia...I’m coming back!!

I’ve been doing some serious thinking lately and I really feel like I’ve painted myself into a corner and while I’m waiting for the paint to dry, I’m trying to figure out Plan B.  I realized recently that Plan A got me nowhere.

The past six months I’ve been away from the exercise thing.  First I had the crazy break up, then the staph infection, and then the circulatory problems with my blood pressure meds and I feel like I’ve just been floundering.  I’m really focusing right now and getting back into the groove.  But the floundering thing, well, it’s not just my exercising that I’m floundering in, it’s really just everything.

While I don’t know what Plan B is yet, I do know that the first step is diet and exercise.  I think the benefits I will get from that will help out in so many other areas...but I don’t have to tell you guys that, huh?

You guys are a great inspiration and I owe so much to you guys.  Really.
So maybe in a week or two I’ll be back and I’ll have lotsa successes to report.

I know this is a weird post, but it’s a good thing - a great leap forward.  I just want you guys to know where I’ve been and that I will be back.  I really think Scott’s Goal Setting Seminar triggered all this.  Thanks again, Scott!!

Take care and I will talk to you guys very soon!!!  Keep up all your good works and I’ll do the same.

I think you mean “mis-adventures!!!”

I actually got hit again last night at a bar---by a woman.  I thought of you guys when it happened.  I was thinking, they’ll never believe this.

So this woman slugged my on my shoulder for absolutely no reason at all, so I turned to look at her and she was just glaring at me.  My first instinct was to ignore it and carry on.  But, of course, I went with my second instinct which was to say “What did you do that for” and she just glared more.  Like she was staring me down.  So random!  So I asked again and she kept staring, and then I could tell she did not expect me to call her out on it and I could see the gears in her noggin’ trying to figure out how to get outta the mess, so I made it easy on her and said “Hey, Whats your name, I’m Chad, hows your night?”

See how I’ve grown!!!

But our Chad ended up being a perfect gentleman.  Good going.  Maybe we’re rubbing off on you.

So, you have had a lot of stuff to deal with this year so don’t beat yourself up about it.  Now that you’ve recovered you can start new.  I’m sure you’ll do very well with your new plan.  Keep us posted.
