Day 89 - Did a lot of errands, helped my Mom sort out some of her stuff and then took a trip to Goodwill, she moved from a house to a condo last year and is still trying to get rid of more stuff to simplify her life.  Did about 30 mniutes of yardio - weeding and then quit when I got a headache.

Day 90 - got out first thing for a 3 mile walk.  Then after lunch mowed the back yard.  I did about one third of it and was feeling tired so took a break with some water and a book on the back porch.  As I started finding it hard to keep my eyes open to read I decided to go put away the lawn mower and finish it tomorrow.  But then I said, I’ll just do a couple more rows, which I did, then repeated and before you know it the lawn was done.

Now I am going to go back to the book and this time I will let my eyes close and maybe take a nap.

Day 91 - rest day.  I was not feeling real great all day, my stomach just wasn’t feeling right.  I found out there is a bug going arount.  That is probably why I had a headache and was feeling so tired over the weekend.

Day 92 - feeling better.  20 minutes of lawn mowing then immediately took a 40 minute walk.  I have to remember the next time to change my shoes in between.  I have an old pair of ratty, grass stained sneakers that I use for lawn mowing but they don’t give much support for walking.

Day 93 - another outside walk abut 1 hour, 3.2 miles.  Might not get another chance this week to walk outside as there is supposed to be rain coming in and lasting through the weekend.

Just one more week to reach 100 days.

Day 94 - planned rest day.

I will definitely going beyond the first hundred days.  Who knows how many 100 days I will do.

Thanks you noticing the removal of another pound.  In fact, I just put it down another pound.  That makes 20 in all, 1/4 of the way to my goal!  grin

Day 95 - Walked to the mall, walked around the mall and then back home.  Didn’t take note of the time.

Hi, Eileen! Just checking in on your progress. Congrats on the weight loss and the steady pace.  I haven’t been doing as much outdoor walking lately, your posts made me miss it. Enjoy!

Day 96 - semi rest day.  Didn’t do any structured exericise or even mow the lawn but spent the day moving, doing housework, running errands, etc.

Day 97 - walk outside - about 1 hour 15 minutes which included a stop at the hardware store to buy a plumber’s wrench. I now get to go unclog my drain.  grrr

It’s nice, I’m in a neighborhood with no through traffic so it is quiet.  But within 2 miles are a couple grocery stores, 2 drugstores, hardware store, Barnes and Noble, and a mall(Vermont sized, so not huge) Plus the fast food spots, but I walk right by those.  So it doesn’t make sense to do my walk and then come home and get in the car and go to the store, so I just stop along the way.

Day 98 - about 50 minute walk outside.  I was so bummed during the day as it was cold and rainy all day and I thought I would need to do the treadmill tonight.  But the rain had stopped by the time I got home so I was able to walk outside and the sun even came out while I was walking.  It was still cold though, I had to wear my sweatshirt.

Day 99 - rest day.  After I got back from my walk last night I just had time to fix some dinner then I spent the rest of the night on the computer for work helping with some customer issues.  So I didn’t get to bed until late.  Then today, I had to deal with another customer so I had no energy left to walk.

But I will definitely be moving tomorrow.  I do not want Day 100 to be a rest day.

I have attached a photo of my great nephew.  He just turned one and I had to share his cuteness.

DAY 100 !

Worked at home, so I was able to walk at lunchtime.  There was a light rain for the first 40 minutes but then the sun came out briefly.  It later poured so I’m glad I walked when I did.

Thanks gals.  I took one day off and now I am starting round 2.

Round 2, Day 1 - Walk - about 3.3 miles, it rained a bit on and off.  Kept putting my hood up and down, but never had to pull out the umbrella.  Stopped at the grocery store and picked up a few things.
