Welcome!! Great attitude!! I like your enthusiasm!!

Remember your body does need some rest days. And you can count those towards your 100 Day challenge (it’s actually in the rules!!). My body is definitely lets me know when it is time to take a day off of training. When I return to the gym the following day my workouts are so much better!!

What are your plans. What type of exercise do you like? Do you have any goals?

It’s important to know that at the end of the day it’s not the medals you remember.  What you remember is the process-- what you learn about yourself by challenging yourself, the experiences you share with other people, the honesty the training demands—those are things nobody can take away from you whether you finish last or you’re an Olympic Champion.

Day 1.

I plan to exercise 100 days straight.  Some days will be easy exercise, like walking, in order to rest my body.  I really want to do 100 days straight.  I don’t like rest days, because one rest days turn into two rest days turns into three rest days, etc (for me at least)..  I will use the days that I walk, instead of running/going to the gym, as my rest days.  But I will exercise every day for 100 days.  Today, I will walk at lunch!  See you tomorrow and thanks for the support!

Welcome, Kery! I know what you mean about the rest days. We do count housework (hardio) and yard work (yardio) here as workouts. And some light yoga is wonderful for a rest day too. Beats sitting on the couch all day! Hope you had a wonderful walk!

Welcome, Kerry. You should be able to get more movement in on “rest” days than you normally would have just because you’re thinking of it.
