I never thought I’d make it, and I’m more than halfway through!  If I can do it, you can do it.  Good luck, you’re doing a great job!

Day sixteen - half hour jog

It’s not enough to make me feel great but at least, if I do half an hour, I don’t feel hopeless.

Day seventeen - that’s today! I have big fitness plans… when will I execute them smile

I love noticining how different things feel when I’m working out!!  Especially when an exercise becomes easier and I can do it better.  I’ve noticed that with planks recently.  I started on my hands doing 10 - 15 seconds and worked up to a minute - this week I am now trying the harder version on my elbows but I am backing the time back to 30 seconds - made 35 sec on my last one yesterday!!  Love the burn because it means my midsection is getting smaller!!

May I make a suggestion, Monica? Instead of writing “nothing”, which sounds kind of negative on yourself, maybe “rest day”?

It’s hard that you’ve got to give up sleep to get your walking in, but maybe your schedule will have some “give” to it soon and maybe you can arrange things so you have a little more free time.  Meanwhile, I’m seeing some variety in your program (yoga, resistance, etc.) which is great.

Peace and joy,

Ann

I’ll think about it Ann. Writing ‘nothing’ does not feel negative to me and it is, after all, my challenge.
Logging on with regularity and keeping track is my main goal in participating in the challenge.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Day twenty eight - nothing (which was actually quite a lot of other physical things without including an hour or so dedicated to solitary exercise)

Oh no… sniff… sniff.  My sympathies.  As you can see by my avatar I am a cat lover.  I know it can be very sad to lose a loved family pet.  Hope you are feeling settled about it.

Take care
