I’m proud to say that I’ve completed a full work-week of being back on my 5:00 AM gym routine!!  It feels GREAT to be back to my usual workout time.  I’ve lifted every other morning and done cardio on the opposite days.  In addition, I’ve been doing extra cardio at night or after school.  Naturally, doing the right thing for my body in terms of exercise automatically makes it easier to eat right… it’s a whole mindset thing for me.

Yay for Karen! I’m proud of you too. smile

I worked out a little late last night - 8 pm, but I was going to a play that started at midnight, so I was hoping it would keep me awake.

Pain is nothing compared to the emptiness that comes from quitting.

Wow, congrats Karen!  I can’t even imagine being *awake* at 5 am, let alone functional and working out.  Kudos to you!

Thank girls, grin

For me, the morning workout is the best way to start my day.  If I put it off until later, it’s too easy to let other things get in the way.  This is part of why I’m always in the best shape during the summer because I don’t work and head right to the gym as soon as I get up, no matter what time it is.
