I’ve been listening for months, and all the changes to the show finally forced me to log on to the website so I could make sure I wasn’t missing anything. I lost 40lbs about 6 years ago; I’ve gained about 10 back, but still look/feel good. I am getting married in a few months, and would love to shed a few pounds.  Working out isn’t a problem, but watching my diet is a real struggle. I have a bad sweet tooth! Hopefully I’ll find lots of folks going through the same thing (misery loves company, right?), but be inspired and encouraged when we all overcome our personal challenges and succeed!

I just joined last night.  I found the podcast on accident and then went to the website.  I am needing the extra boost.  I have a hard time being consistent with the way I eat.  Exercise is pretty good.  I am trying to up that a notch to see if it will help me drop some pounds.  Sounds like you and I are a like in some ways.

Welcome to you both!

Glad your here, and yes, there are a bunch of motivating people here to help you along your way (to the alter! )

A sweet tooth is something I don’t suffer from, but its the salty bug that has me!…

I could shed 5 lbs in a week, if it wasn’t for the salty nuts, jerky, chips (healthy kind) and in my food!

My doctor said lower my salt for my blood pressure, so I just try to sweat it out! but that doesn’t work, as effective, as a good diet…

I HAVE changed my diet, with much less salty items in my diet, but it’s always a temptation for me, and MTM keeps me motivated and accountable!

It’s important to know that at the end of the day it’s not the medals you remember.  What you remember is the process-- what you learn about yourself by challenging yourself, the experiences you share with other people, the honesty the training demands—those are things nobody can take away from you whether you finish last or you’re an Olympic Champion.

To tri is to risk failure, not to tri is to guarantee it!
