Finally a new thread for 2008.

What I learned in the last month-If I don’t have a thread I don’t post and if I don’t post I tend not to exercise.

So posting everyday=exercise every day. Goal #1

Goal #2-15 minutes working in my target heart rate zone increasing as needed and leg lifts every day

Goal #3-Eat healthy (and boring) during the tax season (the next ten weeks) having the same meals every day

Goal #4-Lose weight-drop below 250-lose 20# in the 10 weeks

Goal #5-Drink my water

2/1-Leg lifts
2/2-15 min & leg lifts
2/3-Leg lifts-rest
2/4-15 min

M.....

I have found if I’m diligent with the water, the urge to eat is not as bad.....

I NEVER want to look at food as being boring (thus all the garlic, onions, peppers etc) and always will mix it up in a healthy way.

I know you are motivated, and I hope you know that we are behind you 100%!

Keep posting....everyday!

Hey Muscles, welcome back! There is nothing boring about healthy eating, you just have to get creative and plan well.

Thanks, Tom and Shawn for being here for me.

So that’s what you guys pick up on-boring. Say -TAX SEASON-meaning no time for thinking about anything but work.

To me it will be boring because it will be the same every day.  Chicken breast and a veg.  Every day, every night.  I won’t want to think about cooking, I won’t want to be creative, I will just want to know that I have dinner in the house when I get home.

Hey, M! Love the goals! You’ll get what you want, just have to stick with it, but you already know that. I look forward to reading about you getting under 250, that’ll be a fun day!

Common, you can add some hot sauce to your chicken and veg, maybe some fish?

Thanks for stopping by Julie, Bree and Shawn.

Cool new picture Bree.

As for crock pots, I have never learned moderation, so it would end up being the full pot and servings for 12-I may be doing it with soup because I want to have some at least once a day.

I know Shawn, you start cooking and you have your base ready and you find all these other things, like mushrooms or celery or beans, to put in and suddenly you have enough food for a football team.

Hey M.  Great goals.  Don’t think boring, think easy.  If you are going to be so busy, at least preparing the meals will be easy.  And I remember Scott saying that he and Joi eat the same meals a lot of the time and it helps them.  Or go the other way, if you make enough for a football team, then you can freeze it up and have the meals prepared and save that time for something else!

And I’m with you, if I don’t post, I don’t move.  Went on vacation and am having a hard time getting back in the swing of things.  Your NEW string has inspired me!

Thanks Amy and welcome to my thread.

Your right-I need to think easy, not boring, which is such a negative word.

I still have HUGE slabs of lasagna from last fall in my freezer which was made in a roasting pan!

Hey M!

Glad to see you’re still kickin’ it!  Hang in there with tax season.  My best friend is a CPA and I know what crazy hours she works this time of year.
