Hi Gang.

quick rant here.

Homework, Homework HoMEwork <-> ME

My new homework strategy. I love simplicity, but dinner napkins, sticky notes, $0.49 spiral notebooks, and/or MS word to-do lists don’t make it into my Motorola Q9m (which is always with me wether I’m out on the bike, lounging on the couch watching Lion King with the kids, or where ever else I happen to be, very easily wink

(2 pieces of software) Mac based, sorry no disrespect, just my preference. I do tech support for many PC users as well.

10ft - 50,000 ft view - Freemind *empahsis on Free” http://freemind.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

Set-up mind map and update as I review, see “Homework_MTM.jpg”
Plug items into OmniFocus, see “OmniFocus_MTM.jpg”

YMMV, Your mileage may vary.
Any thoughts, tweaks? (Johnny 5 loves input, ya know)

Peace, Hi Scott!
Frank

Mind maps rock! For those who are less high tech, you can use a notebook or a piece of paper, but Frank I like the Hi-tech version too! There are also some free web based solutions that don’t come to mind right now.

It’s important to know that at the end of the day it’s not the medals you remember.  What you remember is the process-- what you learn about yourself by challenging yourself, the experiences you share with other people, the honesty the training demands—those are things nobody can take away from you whether you finish last or you’re an Olympic Champion.

To tri is to risk failure, not to tri is to guarantee it!
