I researched The Cave Man Diet today online and I guess how I’m eating isn’t really The Cave Man Diet.
The Cave Man Diet is strictly prohibits beans. And I’ve been eating them at every non-breakfast meal. I guess Cave Men couldn’t boil beans!
I weighed again today and as of this morning I’ve lost a total of 15 pounds in 3 weeks on The Chad Man Diet.
Am I the only one that doesn’t get gassy from beans?
I always thought that was an old wive’s tale!!!

4 sets of 10-12 reps of the following
Legs
Quad extensions
Hamstring extensions
calf extensions
Shoulders
2 types of overhead shoulder presses
rear deal extensions
upright rows
shrugs
front lat raises
side lat raises
30 minutes of good, sweaty ellitpical.
I didn’t want to do cardio, again! Whats up with that? Maybe it’s cuz I did legs today. But I made myself. I find if I can force the first 10 minutes, then the remaining 20-30 is easy.
The Chad Man Diet is awesome. 15 lbs lost is wonderful. I’m gonna start eating more beans.
It’s not so much the beans as much as cutting out the rices, breads and pastas.
I just use the beans to replace that third side item.
While on the treadmill tonight I was thinking about the quick weight loss and I’m starting to wonder if it’s the stress from the crappy break up I’m going through.
Should I re-title it “The Lies and Betrayal Diet”?
Hmmmm. Just a thought.
Sorry about the break up. Isn’t it amazing how our emotions affect our eating habits? I vote for the Chad Man Diet. It’s much more positive. Actually, I love beans and have been eating a whole lot more of them lately too. You’re right, they fill you up and their good for you too.
I was just being silly about the “Lies and Betrayal Diet”.
The break up actually had neither lies nor betrayal.
It was more of a thing involving one hundred and eighty Mexico-prescribed valiums, a drug binge, an attempt to hurt himself, hospitalization and a shrink saying that he shouldn’t be in a relationship.
You know, a tale as old as time.
Especially since Ramon is 5’ 1” and weighs 120 lbs and they were ingested in a span of two weeks

Took a rest day today. Had to get some house work done and grocercy shopping done.
Plus my batteries were running low today. I feel better now that I’ve eaten supper. I’m going out for a night with the boys tonight.
One thing I’ve noticed since cutting back on calories and excluding breads and rices, I get drunk really fast, so I’m only getting one drink tonight…
Hey, it saves calories and money. Not a bad deal.
Sorry about the break up. Isn’t it amazing how our emotions affect our eating habits?
I don’t think the break up is affecting my eating habit negatively. I think it’s just being stressed is making my lose more weight than normal. The same thing happened to my friend Sara Jane when she went through a break up too.
I’m actually eating better than ever.
You and I would have a cheap bar tab....I too get tipsy after one....but I am happy to be a lightweight!!! Stress does effect eating habits, either one way or the other..too much or too little. Does that go back to the caveman thing too???
I don’t know.
The whole rapid weight loss thing is really starting to worry me. I weighed again today and I’m down a total of 18 pounds in exactly 3 weeks. I weighed 252 on January 2nd. Today I weighed 234, 3 pounds less than I did Monday.
It really hit me today that it’s way too fast.
All I’ve done is cut out breads and rices...surely that one change did not trigger this kind of results. I’m eating around 2000 calories or so a day and exercising 4 days or so a week.
Here’s what I think are the possible causes:
(1) I’ve kicked into some super fat burning mode secret and if so I should write a book. Ka-ching $$$$
(2) The stress over the break up is causing me to lose weight.
(3) I’ve somehow kicked into Ketosis, even though I’m eating fruits and beans and carby veggies. Now I have stinky breath to look forward too. Great.
(4) The 20 pounds I put on over the winter fell off easily cuz it hadn’t set up shop yet and grabbed onto my spleen or liver or some other organ.
(5) My body is reacting normally to a good diet and exercise program and there’s no need to worry.
