Hello all:
My name is Gary and I am a 50 year old man in the process of major weight loss and I am glad to be here.  I am located in New York and have been enjoying and finding inspiration from the podcasts. I hope to be an active participant in this forum and look forward to interacting with you. I welcome encouragement, slaps to the back of the head from time to time, and the potential for learning available here!!
I am 100 pounds over the weight I wish to ultimately be, am more than tired of my own excuses and rationalizations and am determined to make fundamental changes in my view of my health, in my relationship with food, and in my estimation of my ability to take charge of my potential for change.
Thank you in advance!!

Welcome, Gary! I’m just the person for encouragement and slaps to the back of the head! LOL  What seems to be the biggest obstacle for you?  I like to attack the biggest opponent and watch the others fall in line. wink Let me know how I can help!

Hi Gary!

Welcome to MTMLand!  You’ll definitely get encouragement and accountability here ... but we’ll leave the head-slapping to Bree!  wink

I’m glad you’re here!

Welcome Gary and Happy New Year.

Its so very nice to meet you. I cant wait to read more about you and your goals for the new you.  I’m from the 100+ club myself and this Forum and Scotts podcast has taught me so much in the little time that I’ve been here. I’m trying to find that ‘click’.  Something I learnt, take things one day, one hour, one second at a time. Thats one of my moto’s. Oh and yelling..THE KITCHEN IS CLOSED..lol Best of luck! : D
