I’ve just made the leap to Premium member so i could buy the Master Vault special. After just listening to his podcasts for six months, and loosing the last 30 of my 50 pounds, i wanted his messages (with his smooth, and upbeat voice) to listen to in the car! Last August, i saw my next door neighbor for the first time in 6 months and she had lost 60 pounds!  When i asked her how, she said she had started going to the women’s only circuit gym in town.  I told her to take me with her! So i started exercising there, 1/2 hour for 3 times a week, and lost 3 pounds in my first two weeks without changing my diet. I thought “just what can i do if i started eating healthier too?” So i started going to the gym 5 times a week, for 1 hour..and eating more vegetables, less desserts.  By January15, i had lost 20 pounds (5 months) but stalled out after Valentines because i just couldn’t give up the sweets at work where our group shared goodies.  I knew i needed more motivation, and after getting my first ipod for Christmas, started searching diet motivations to download (i can listen while at my work station ...8 hours a day).  I decided to flood my mind!!!! The best, by far, podcast was Motivationto Move! After settleing into a new way of eating ( Dr Gotts’s No Flour, No Sugar) I lost the rest, a total of 50 pounds in 52 weeks!  Now I am cycling my diet in Maintenence ( of 4 days on, 3 days off), and living my new and improved shape ( and a closet of new size 6 clothes) with even more of MTM!!!  just call me .....sparkcat

That’s fantastic, Sparkcat!  Great job! Since you’ve reached your weight loss goal have you planned any new goals for 2008?

Great job, Sparkcat, and welcome to the premium side and the forums! Are you still doing the women’s gym circuit?

Thank you for your kind comments!  I plan to keep up with the circuit gym, an hour a day (sometimes just 30 min.) because i realize this is the exercise that i enjoy, and need to keep the pounds coming off ( as i gain them on weekends).  Since muscle burns more calories than “no muscle”, it has been “the answer” for me, and it only took me 6 months to figure that out!!LOL.My resolutions for this next year is to loose 5 more....doesn’t everyone? But that will put me right back into “just right”, (and all this good celebrating at Christmas time).  I am just soooo glad that i found the right combination of “eating correctly” and exercise that i know i can keep up for the rest of my life. and listening to my podcasts puts me into the right frame of mind! MTM is the best!
