Hi everyone!  It’s me, Viki!  I used to post here a lot....even got mentioned on a pod cast!  Then life got in the way and I went away from the board.  Lots has changed since I posted last.  I had gastric bypass on October 12th and I’m now down 45lbs!  I work out a lot as I want to not just loose weight, but tone at the same time.  I was 100lbs over weight and a diabetic.  I’m still a diabetic, however, I’ve gone from 3 shots and 110 units of insulin to 1 shot and 30 units of insulin.  So things are looking up for me.

I’m 32 (will be 33 on Sunday), live in Northridge, CA, I’m married 8 years and have two children (6 and 3).

Viki

Welcome back, Viki! Congratulations on the 45 pounds, the lower insulin dosage, and the successful surgery! And Happy Birthday!

Welcome back, Viki!

Great job with the insulin. I’d say things are really looking up for you! My brother was recently diagnosed, and he has changed his habits. Lost some serious lbs and everything!

You are reaping the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, from the sounds of it. That is very encouraging.

Hope to see ya around!
