Hi guys,

Thanks for all your playlists!  The majority of my workouts are karate classes, so I can’t really listen to music while I’m doing them.  On the other hand, I love listening to podcasts while I’m walking.  Some of my favourites (along with MTM, of course!):

- Fitness Attack
- Inspiring Words of Encouragement (Zig Ziglar)
- NPR: Motley Fool Profile
- Storytelling by Mr. Howerton (Rudyard Kipling’s “Just So” stories)
- The Onion Radio News

They’re not great for keeping up a beat, but they’ve always got new content, and to me that’s more important.

Cheers,
Julie

Tom,

I have almost all of those on my iPod.  I could just about duplicate your playlist.  You can have Melancamp though.  Never have liked him much.  I know, it’s almost Unamerican.  “-)

Sweetpea,

I picked this up from iTunes, and got the ‘acoustic version’ ...I’m not a Melancamp fan...but this ones is slower, some nice guitar…

It’s cool you have all those on your iPOD too!

Enjoy the workout

Well, I got busy trying some new stuff by looking for some of the songs recommended here and then going off on tangents.  smile I’m not so sure about the rhythm & flow of that particular list, but it did the job.  I was switching equipment 3 times during the workout and was just glad to stay busy listening long enough to finish 1 h15m!  Trainer tomorrow!  woohoo.  I love those days.  How was your weekend?

REVISED TUESDAY MORNING.  Here’s a good one for approx. 45 minutes:

Pon De Replay - Rihanna
Let’s Work Dance Remix - Prince (this one’s 7-8 minutes long)
Shakin ‘ - Eddy Money
The Logical Song - Scooter Remix
Two of a Kind - Monrose
Maneater Delos Dance Mix - Nelly Furtado
She’s A Lady Studio 33 Remix - Tom Jones
No Matter What - Jeremy Camp
Stomp - The Brothers Johnson

It’s Raining Men has always kicked up my pace and made me smile!  Up-beat, inspiring music has always been the key to keeping me motivated and energized while working out.  I’m always looking for new songs to add to my repertoire.  What songs get you moving????
