Being Thankful

Well, since today (Friday) means there is exactly one week until Thanksgiving and Black Friday, I thought a thread on THANKFULNESS would be a great addition.  We all have so much to be thankful for, and we can always use that grateful feeling to attract more positive changes in our lives (and fewer fist fights in the toy aisle).  So, I present this challenge:

Write in this thread each day ONE thing you’re thankful for.  Haha, I’ve already got you thinking of 10, don’t I?  I’m limiting it to ONE PER DAY.  Why? So we can focus completely on that one thing all day long, and realize how thankful we truly are for it.  One exception I’ll make is if you know you aren’t going to be on for a couple of days, you can post ONE for each day you’ll be off the forum.

On Black Friday, if you get on, post all the rest of the things on your list that didn’t make it into the 7-day Thankful Challenge.

To make it easy, just copy and paste this template, or just post the day and what you are thankful for.

As for me:  Friday, Nov 16: I’m thankful for the warm house I live in, as I have a roof over my head and a sanctuary from the cold.

Sounds great!  And when you’re done that, you can check out the Gratitude Journal thread over in the Spiritual Side forum, where you can keep tracking your gratitude for weeks and months to come.

Saturday, November 17 : I’m thankful for my daughter’s best friend. There’s something magical in watching 2 5 year old girls play so wonderful (even with little spats) together for hours.
