I just joined for the 5K.  I’m not a runner, but I’m planning on doing it as a fast walk around the Lafayette Reservoir.  It should be fun, and something to get me back into training.

Hi Everyone!

I am so excited to see a Team MTM for the World Wide Half!  I just joined!

I’m going to be running and walking my half marathon somewhere here in the Point Reyes National Seashore.  I’ve been doing the training runs and ran and walked 10 miles last weekend out to a beautiful place called Arch Rock.

I’m runner #68 “GetFitAimee”

Welcome Paula and Aimee! That is awesome! And Aimee, you must’ve signed up early. Impressive.

What a great response!  I thought the phedipidations world wide half marathon challenge was a great way to train, but I didn’t experience it as a community this this group.  Welcome EVERYBODY!

I would like to have the biggest group for this thing, I think it would be so cool to do this as a community!

Hey hey, check out my new signature line - a link straight to TEAM MTM at phedipidations!  The map looks pretty cool.  We’re all over the US.  Although, it doesn’t work very well for me.  Kinda clunky.

Is it possible to offend Shawn on accident? I think if I tried hard enough I could do it, but who wants to do that?  LOL

I checked the team site and we are 10 strong! All this in a matter of days, I’m really hoping Scott, Joi, and Carlyn join us. Plus all the mods. If walking is allowed, there really is no good reason not to do it. He said on this week’s show that you can do it anytime the week before to the week after. Now how can you really be busy for 14 days?

Plus all the mods.

Your wish is my command, madam!  LOL  Yes, I have joined up!

Yikes!  What have I done?!!??  LOL

Actually, I have walked 5K before so I know I can do it!  There is a 3-mile level trail at a park very near me , so I can do that plus a little bit further.
