Hey all, just thought I’d drop by the forums. I’ve been listening to the podcast since the late summer and would now like to be a more active member of the community. I hope to share my successes and my failures both here and on my blog, found at http://wastethewaist.blogspot.com.

Keep up the great work Scott, and thanks.

Hey Roder!
St. Paul, huh… do you ever get out to any St. Paul Saints games?  My brother played for them one summer, the same summer Strawberry and Jack Morris played.  He said he had a great time up there!
anyway, nice to hear from ya’ and good luck!

Never made it to a Saints game, though I hear they’re a good time. Thanks for the note and hope to hear more from you (and everyone else). Hi Scott!

My brother said it was really fun.  That was the summer they had a reality based show following the team, because of morris, strawberry, and of course bill murray
funny fact though, since I’m posting it here, is my brother’s name is scott smith

my brother’s name is scott smith

What a cool name!  A funny story…

In my early days of radio… a long time ago, I never used my real name.  I went by JJ McKay early on and as I got a little older change to Steve McKay.  In all those years, at stations across the country, I never had anybody question my name.

Then I started using my real name.

As soon as I said, “Scott Smith”, I started getting folks saying “Is that your radio name?”

Nope.  Mom gave it to me.

Say hey to Scott for me.  smile
