Scott,
I am truly sorry for the loss of your soul mate.  But, I know you will see her again.  I have faith in that.  I wish there was more that I could say, but when another angel goes home, still hurts a bit.  Be blessed and get some rest.

Scott, a year ago your podcast inspired me to start my own, and you’ve inspired me further most recently in sharing your wife’s story. My heart goes out to you and your family and I have to let you know how much I appreciate your honesty and openness, because it has helped me feel not quite so alone in dealing with my mom’s cancer, which is a huge challenge for our entire family right now. I followed your updates through these past few months with great interest, and it tore me up into a mess of tears to read this posting today. It was painful, but beautiful too. Thank you, and thanks to Sheryl for encouraging you to share with your listening audience. I think you really honor her by doing so.

I just wanted to let you know how my heart is breaking for all of you.  There’s not much we can say to make you feel better right now, but you have to know there are hundreds of people out here that care about you, and you are in our prayers.  I can’t imagine how it would feel to lose my soulmate, just hang in there, and as the days and weeks pass, somehow time will take away the pain a little at a time.
sincerely,
randi

Hi Scott…

I emailed you earlier regarding this. I didn’t know how to find the forum, so I didn’t know it had happened. I’m really really sorry. I went through the exact same thing 2 years ago with my mom. Only, we only had 3 days notice… (She wasn’t fond of going to the doctor!)

Anyway, your story has me crying… even though I knew it was coming.

I hope you’re okay. I think you have a lot of people there for you (me included!) if you ever need to reach out.

Sincerely,
Meredith

Dear Scott -

I’ve been away for a month from MTM… but I often thought of you and your situation and wondering how it was going.

I am so sorry to hear of Sheryl’s passing.... You are so amazing at how you handle life.... You are truly an inspiration!  I am so sorry for your loss… but I know you’ll be with her again someday.... You are lucky to have found your soulmate in this life!… May God Bless you and your children through this difficult time!…

Sincerely,

Valorie

“I Am Strong.  I Can Do It”

Those are truly words to live by.  Just one of the many lessons we here at MTM Land have learned from your family.  You are truly an inspiration to us all.

All the best,
Stu
