Wow, this thread is a great idea.  It’s always interesting to see what type of music everyone is into.  I like most types of music; however when I’m working out, the music needs to be on the faster side.  So below is a sampling on what’s on my current playlist:

1.  Let the Music Take you (Keshia Chante)
2.  Umbrella Remix (Rihanna w/ Chris Brown)
3.  Hips don’t Lie (Shikira)
4.  Indestructable (Matisyahu)
5.  The Music (David Usher)
6.  Makes me Wonder (Maroon 5)
7.  Girlfriend Remix (Avril Livigne w/ Lil Mama)
8.  U & Ur Hand (Pink)
9.  Flirt (Pussycat Dolls)
10. The Way I Are (Timberland)
11.  Break it Off (Sean Paul w/ Rihanna)
12.  With Love (Hilary Duff)
13.  Wind it Up (Gwen Stefani)
14.  I Owe it all to you (Eva Avila)

I get bored of songs rather quickly, so a variety is always good.

After reading this thread, I don’t have my playlist ready. Opps, but I do have a techy question.

I have the 30 gb ipod with video and the wireless headphones sound good. I have only attempted video
yoga with the ipod and it does work, even with the extension I have to the earphones. Can be tricky at times though.

Now to my techy question: i also have an ipod mini, in fact two of them. One is for workouts and is getting filled quickly
with MTM, the other is my hubby’s (LOL, all 4 gig of it)

These have so messed up my itunes folders on my harddrive. I actually have a file that reads (if I can remember)
itunes/itunes music/previously itunes library/itunes/itunes musice etc..... 3 of these under one yellow folder. THEN, another itunes/etc/etc/etc.

Anyone ever had trouble with more than one ipod connecting to the computer? I have moved files around and am about
ready to delete the songs that won’t play anymore, get rid of those files and start downloading again. TG I have all my songs on CD backups.

If you do delete and re-add your songs, I would set iTunes up to automatically keep a copy of the song in your iTunes file.  Before I started doing that, I would lose files all the time...it was really annoying.
I’m not at my home PC right now, so I can’t tell you where the options are.
I have a 30 gig and a nano and I don’t ever really have problems.

Thanks Chad. I’ll make sure that option is done when I redo the songs. Thought about this again this a.m. at 4:15 (what a time to be thinking) and I think one of the mini’s is set up as a hard disk. Will be playing, deleting, reinstalling this weekend.

Hmm.  I listen to a lot of different songs that chnages frequently.  Eminem, Weird Al, Toby Keith, as you can see, I’m EVERYWHERE!

Here’s the podcasts I’ve been listening to lately…

Motivation to Move (whoa!  Surprise!)
Astronomycast
EscapePod
PseudoPod
Science Update
Scott Sigler’s Bloodcast
The Space Show (sometimes… That one is ALWAYS long, and it comes out once every 2 or 3 days!)

I know I have others.  Can’t think of them right now.

I’m also listening to the audio book for The DaVinci Code.

Hi everyone!

This is not music - but I was wondering what podcasts that people listen to while working out.  I am trying to get my husband to start doing weights.  However, he thinks weight lifting is very boring.  He would prefer to do the elliptical where he can watch his own tv which is attached to each piece of cardio equipment at the gym.

He loves Seinfeld and the evening news.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you!

No he is not a sports lover.  Good for me though I get to spend more time with him.

Any comedy shows that might be good?

Thanks!

If he likes the news, Newsweek does a podcast called Newsweek on Air.  It’s about 40 minutes.

He could try the Dawn and Drew Show.  I’ve never been able to get into them, but they’re pretty popular.

I wish I could find a good comedy podcast too.  Personally, I’m afraid of them.  I was listening to a “best of” for a couple of DJs I loved here in Phoenix, and I started laughing while running.  It wasn’t a good combination!

The cable news networks (MSNBC, CNN, Fox) all have podcasts.  All you have to do is check out I-tunes, the networks are sponsors so they are very prominently display.  Some of the podcasts a videos (AC 360 on CNN) though.
