Nice shirt Skyler.....

I wear usually wear ‘body amour’ shirts when I work out.....
When I spin, (mirrors everywhere) the sweat starts out at the neck and by the first half hour, half is soaked, by the end......there is NO dry spots, but you can tell its sweat, because its all the same color! wink

It’s important to know that at the end of the day it’s not the medals you remember.  What you remember is the process-- what you learn about yourself by challenging yourself, the experiences you share with other people, the honesty the training demands—those are things nobody can take away from you whether you finish last or you’re an Olympic Champion.

Here I am after today’s four mile run. Doesn’t look like much, but then a lady doesn’t really sweat - she glistens, right? Hey - I earned that sweat and I’m darned proud of it!!!

Julie,

When I was in Vancouver doing the marathon last month, I discovered this absolutely amazing company at the expo. They make headbands and they are amazing. They have this special technology where the headbands have this special strip made into that you place over your brow. The strip directs the sweat away from your eyes. It works like a charm! And they are incredibly absorbent. I cant say enough positive things about them. A “must-have” for anyone with glasses or who just sweats a lot! They are called Halo. Definitely check them out.

I was going through my new bicycle magazine (what my wife calls ‘bike porn’)....and saw the haloheadband......so I ordered on, after getting some feedback from a few of my triathlon buddies....

I tend to sweat a lot too, (I’ll have to get a pic), and anything to keep the sweat from getting into my sunglasses!

The halo looks neat. While I am not a sweater, my brother will be visiting in July, so I am thinking about getting one for him, one of the baseball cap ones.

Ah, okay!  My small contribution to the challenge.  After one hour of LSB on the stairmaster.

This one isn’t a very clear picture unfortunately but it is better than the one I took yesterday.  Notice the small lighter colored areas on the shirt.  That is the original color.  Just for emphasis, I took a pic of the shirt after I changed cloths. grin

Regards,
Charles

I sweat a lot when doing my workouts now that I know what I am doing and am really motivated to see results.

What I have also noticed is that all day long I seem to sweat a lot more.  I have been switching around my deodorant/antiperspirant to try and find something that keeps up with my new sweatiness now but I have not found one yet that seems to keep me dry.

Any suggestions?

Thanks so much!
Karen
