Well now that I have my MP3 player, I can list some of mine.
“Brainiac"-Chevelle
[Very angry, and actually faster than Chevelle’s usual stuff.]
“Get Some"-Chevelle
[This one always gets my heart pumping really well.]
“Breach Birth"-Chevelle
[OMG!!!!]
“Family System"-Chevelle
[I strongly relate to this, having grown up with a brother only two years older than me. But the song gives me a lot of energy and releases anger very nicely.]
Okay I’m gonna stop with the Chevelle songs now, I promise!
“Wide Awake"-Audioslave
[This song kinda MAKES me angry, and that can give me a big boost of energy.]
“Drunks, Lovers, Sinners and Saints"-Alexisonfire
[Fast and furious, very high energy, as with most Alexis material
“This Could Be Anywhere In The World"-Alexisonfire
[OMG!!!!]
“We Are The End"-Alexisonfire
[Very very fast, great drum beat, and the whole thing just has a really energizing sound to me]
“Get Fighted"-Alexisonfire
[Really inspiring and empowering message wrapped in a really fast drum beat and obviously amazing vocals]
By Alexis, I’d also add “Accidents”, fantastic energy about that song. And the lyrics are great.
“A Favor House Atlantic"-Coheed & Cambria
[Straightforward for these guys, and super fast. So it’s good for increasing speed.]
“Fire Woman"-The Cult
[Oh man, this one gives me goosebumps every single time I hear it, without fail. Amazing amazing energy.]
“There And Back Again"-Daughtry
[Great hard rock song. This gives me a lot of power.]
“Decided To Break It"-Marianas Trench
[Really nice, energetic song.]
“Just Stop"-Disturbed
[Wow WOW WOW.]
“Stricken"-Disturbed
[I find this one always gives me a boost. OW! AH! AH! AH! OW!]
“Sacred Lie"-Disturbed
[Powerful lyrics, with awesome speed and vocal style.]
“Famous Last Words"-My Chemical Romance
[I AM NOT AFRAID TO KEEP ON LIVING! I AM NOT AFRAID TO WALK THIS WORLD ALONE!]
“This Is How I Disappear"-My Chemical Romance
[WOW!]
“I Caught Fire"-The Used
[Great guitar part in the beginning. Awesome emo song that makes me wanna jump around and pretend I can play an electric!]
“A Box Full Of Sharp Objects"-The Used
[Off of their first album. Pretty raw sounding(like a lot of emo stuff), amazing screaming by Bert McCracken. One of my favorite rock songs.]
“Killing In The Name"-RATM
[OMG!!!!]
“Freedom"-RATM
[ANGER IS A GIFT. COME ONNNNNN!!!!!!!!! k I think I made my point, haha.]
“Vietnow"-RATM
[Really catchy, amazing lyrics, with an appropriate dose of anger.]
“Know Your Enemy”
[Obviously I wasn’t gonna forget that one. Little Maynard James Keenan in there too, for any Tool or APC fans out there.]
“Calm Like A Bomb”
[OMG!!!! Nothing else can be said.]
“Sleep Now In The Fire"(maybe with a little “Bulls on Parade” as an awesome intro, like the Audioslave concerts)
[I’ve thought about mixing those two songs into eachother or something. But “Sleep Now In The Fire” is one of the stronger tracks on Battle Of Los Angeles, it helps ratchet up the speed.]
“The Pot"-Tool
[Words cannot describe.]
“Intolerance"-Tool
[Nice and angry, as was commonplace on Tool’s earlier work]
“Eulogy"-Tool
[Amazing buildup, good for warming up before getting right into it.]
“That Song"-Big Wreck
[Of course!]
“Screaming"-Tupelo Honey
[I have the live Band of the Month set they did for SONiC in Edmonton.]

Today’s song
Paperthin Hymn
Anberlin…
Don’t know why, I just like that song.
-Dave
Because it’s a great song!
Why: Because you just can’t stop grooving to the tune. Most of Rage’s music is pretty powerful. Zack de la Rocha rules!!!!! I miss him!!!! Where did you go, Zack?
Apparently he’s done some unreleased work, but most recently(and notably) he’s played some shows with Tim, Tom, and Brad. I believe they are getting back together, but they aren’t saying anything other than “we currently have no other shows scheduled.”
