I have a question that’s been really confusing me for awhile. When someone says that they a taking a spinning class, is that just a class where people ride a stationary bike? Is spinning cycling? Is there a difference or is it just the trendy thing to call it?

Spinning is way more fun than just sitting on a bike, pook! grin

If the trainer is good, you get a little story to go with the exercise. The guy who does the one I usually attend will do things like...divide us into groups and we have a race (never seen any medals though), have one of us sprint off (double your speed) and the rest have to catch them, have us ride up a hill through mud dragging a trailer. We jog on the bike, hover over the seat, sit and sprint....mainly get our heart rates up through the roof!

Hope that explains it for you wink

That does sound more fun than just riding a bike. Thanks for the explanation.

I wondered what spinning was too. Sounds fun but hard at this point for me.
