I live here in the middle of Buick City, better known as Flint Michigan. I’ve been a big guy all my life. Now that I’m at the mid-life point, I’ve decided to get in better shape and get healthier. I need to lose about 70 lbs to get back to my comfortable weight of 200. I’ve already lost about 12 but I need to do better. I have 2 daughters that need me to stick around for a few more years so I’ve made up my mind to focus more on my health. Now if I could just get the rest of me to focus on that.

At work we have a friendly little contest going to lose weight over the next few months. I think we all needed some sort of motivation to get us started. I’ve been yo-yoing for the last 14 weeks and I just need to get serious about it. Your program is a great source of inspiration and (I hate to say it) motivation. I’m excited about the future and hope to get more involved with this community. Thanks for your efforts.
