That’s me.
My husband actually pokes fun at me now because I’m producing a low-carb podcast and I’m actually eating low-glycemic, not low-carb anymore. I tell him it’s close enough that I don’t feel like a poseur.
I lost 50 pounds on Atkins about two years ago, and have remained at a steady weight for the last year. I’m still overweight, but no longer obese. I’m ready to lose the rest now, and have embarked on a Zone-like low-glycemic balanced diet recommended by a friend with an Exercise Science degree. I’m also exercising every weekday, which is making me feel better than I have in a long time.
I had a cheat day last week, and I don’t feel guilty about it, as it was a planned thing. Unfortunately, I gained back what weight I’d lost. I’m not discouraged, though. My legs are pleasantly stiff and sore from yesterday’s workout, and my arms and shoulders are only slightly sore from this evening’s workout, and it feels *good*.
My name is Diana, I run the Low Carb Lifestyle Podcast, and I want to lose 35 pounds by Labor Day 2006. Or three dress sizes, whichever comes first.
