Hello Scott and Carlyn,

Will you be considering video podcasts in the near future? I’ve enjoyed the audio version, but I think the video podcasts would draw a stronger connection between yourself and your audience.

You could use the video version to show exercise demonstrations.

Otherwise, great programming. Keep up the great work!

Hi Scott,

I just wanted to say a big thankyou. I’d been listening to the itunes free podcasts in the mornings during my daily dog walk for a while now and have just signed up to be a premium member. MTM has really given me a tool to keep myself on track with my personal development. Hearing your tips and advice everyday really helps me to stay focused on trying to get the most out of life!

One question...You mentioned there was going to be a conference type thing in one of the podcasts? When where and how do I find out more? I really want to try and come along but my student budget might not stretch to a transatlantic flight! Any plans to video it and broadcast in on the web?

Brightest blessings

Kyle

I am Thankful for MTM!!!

Hi Scott,

On the eve of Thanksgiving, I am writing to thank you for the work you do. It has made a huge impact in my life and your podcasts are an integral part of my day. There is an old saying “You never know what you have until it’s gone”. I try to avoid cliches, but this time I can’t.

I just spent the longest three weeks in recent memory without my MTM podcasts. I tried to see if my MTM membership was worth the time and cash ... well it is, and then some. No matter where I am in the world, I listen to the MTM Show, Daily Boost and Fitness Boost podcasts. They are a consistent voice of wisdom and motivation for not only fitness, but life in general. Sometimes the messages are a little vague or perhaps they don’t apply to me right now, yet I am always glad to have listened. It’s like hearing from an old friend or wearing my favourite old jeans. It’s comfortable and afterwards I am ready to take on the day.

When I go to work, I leave everything familiar at home for weeks at a time. Likewise, when I come home, I leave everything at work. For me, your voice and theme music are something constant that helps blend it together. I’ve never really had anything like this before and feel blessed to have it now. Facebook is nice too, but not like this. You are here on my schedule. And for that I am truely greatful.

I am also thankful for Joi and for Carlyn. A man cannot be great unless he has at least one powerful woman behind him. I takes a lot of effort and energy to clean a man up and keep him polished. I know, I am high maintenance myself. I’m sure, Scott, you would have accomplished all that you did without them. But for how long? A motivator needs motivation too. For that I am also greatful.

Normally, I send messages like this privately. Today, however, I wear my heart on my sleeve, and pay tribute and thanks to everyone at Motivation To Move. I also share this thanks with everyone in MTMLand. There were times when many selflessly offered their friendship when I needed it most. There is not a greater group of people on this planet.

Scott, you have truely created something special and I am proud to be a part of it.

Thank-you and God Bless,
Derek

Thanks Scott and Joi and by the way, I have to tell you, I love Vitabot!

Hi Scott, Joi and Carlyn,

First, I have to thank you Scott and thank you Joi for talking about me on an MTM show last month… I am the “plateau” girl or should I say, the “used to not be on track at all girl”! I had posted on the forum about busting out of my plateau saying I had trouble following a proper diet on the week-end and then on some week nights and well, didn’t Scott just have to go and say that maybe it was not a plateau.... Indeed! It was not a plateau, it was me just not doing what I needed to do to lose the rest of the weight I need to lose… And then Joi said that I needed to keep my calories in check and so last week, I started tracking them on a regular basis in Vitabot and don’t you know, I was eating way too much!

So, I started being a whole lot gooder than badder by tracking my food and calories in Vitabot and am feeling such a sense of accomplishment when I get a lot of “A“‘s. It really is a great tool to get conscious of just how many calories you are taking in. I thought I had a pretty good idea since I dieted many times over the years but it’s just so easy to under-estimate how much we are taking in.

It’s only been a few days now that I am really on track with my calories and I feel so much better and dropped a few pounds too!

Thank you so much for your advice and for MTM, love being a Premium member!

Hi Scott, Joi and Carlyn,
I have been toying with the idea of dropping you a line for a while now but I thought ‘I don’t know what to write!’ Well today something happened that spurred me into action: I was listening to the MTM show #167, when suddenly I heard my forum post being read out! I was shocked and it felt totally unreal! OK, I know that you guys are real but, but, but..... Anyway, it was a very pleasant surprise. Thanks for reading my post and answering my question.

I must say you are doing a really great job Scott! And so is Joi and Carlyn. I came across Motivation To Move about 2 months ago via iTunes. I simply love the MTM show and the Fitness Boost, and the Daily Boost. They are so inspiring, informative and fun. I love hearing Joi too. Joi you are an inspiration to the ladies!

Thanks for all you do, and may I add PYOTB -you deserve it!
God bless!
