For the Canadians on the forums, here’s a really cool resource: SOS Cuisine.

The premise is simple: you enter your postal code, number of household members, and any dietary restrictions (say, no porc or vegetarian).  Then, every week SOS Cuisine will send you a customized meal plan, grocery list, and “action plan,” taking into account not only your preferences but also what’s seasonal and on sale at your local supermarkets!  How cool is that!

I just signed up this week, and I’ve just gotten my first menu.  It is very nifty.

Oh, and did I mention that it’s free?

Cheers,
Julie

Julie, thanks for bringing this to my attention - what a great site! You should link it into the local Canadian forum (I would do so if I knew how!)

Thanks for sending this along, not a lot of things especially for Canadians, so I am looking forward to see what they recommend as to local vendors etc….
