0 Comments Topic: Fun Stuff, Motivation, Personal Growth Listen To The Audio With This PostWho YOU are is the most powerful thing you own. It’s called your identity and you can’t live without it.
So, what do you do when you want to make a few changes in your life and you suddenly feel totally out of your comfort zone?

I Need A GPS For My Life
0 Comments Topic: Flying, Life In Balance, Motivation, Personal GrowthIt’s been said that once you take to the air, you always look skyward.
That is certainly the case with me.
Learning to fly a few years back and now working on my Instrument Rating, I am constantly amazed that they actually let me fly an airplane all by myself.
It’s been a great adventure and from the very beginning, I’ve always known that becoming a pilot was a lot like learning to live life.
The other day Air Traffic Control cleared me for take off on Runway 27 out of Sanford, Florida.
I was just about ready to go, when a quick glance at the GPS told me everything I needed to know about flying and life.
You see, even though I started at the beginning, practiced for hours and hours to gain experience and even brushed up on my skills with a little retraining along the way…

Life Is Good When You Know Where To Look
1 Comments Topic: Life In Balance, Personal GrowthHere’s a vision for you.
This morning I’m standing in front of my full-length mirror, naked as a Jay bird (Thank you Ray Stephen’s), flexing my muscles, flashing my pearly whites, noticing I still had most of my hair, and thinking, “I look like my Dad - except in way better shape than he was at my age.”
This of course happened after an amazing re-birthday weekend that included a party where a server asked, “So who is turning 50?”
“Me!” I said. To which she replied… “NO WAY!”
That was totally awesome - and really makes me happy that I take care of myself most of the time.
There’s no doubt, today’s 50 is nothing like yesterday’s 50, and neither is today’s 100 - something that became very clear a when Joi’s mother invited us to join her and her “girlfriends” for Sunday lunch.
We’ve survived the buffet a… Read More

The Mindset Of Motivation
0 Comments Topic: Motivation, Personal GrowthWhen I founded MotivationToMove.com, I did it largely based on the simple concept that when we can gain control of our thoughts, we not only change our body, we change our entire life!
As a guy who lives in Orlando, I spend a lot of time at Disney World, where one of my favorite Walt Disney quotes, “If you can dream it, you can build it”, is played out in living color. What a dreamer; what a builder!
Still, if you have ever wanted something different in your life, have you noticed your mind doesn’t always get the memo?
What’s going on has everything to do with your Mindset – because no matter what you might be thinking – you are thinking something.
Your Mindset is simply the sum total of all your beliefs, values, identity, expectations, attitudes, habits, decisions, opinions, and thought patterns…

Tele-seminar replay and a really cool letter…
0 Comments Topic: Fun Stuff, Motivation, Personal GrowthI’m getting ready to take off for the weekend but I wanted to drop you a note and let you know Carlyn just finished editing the audio from the “How To Create My Perfect Day” tele-seminar I did a couple of days ago.
It’s really good stuff and you know what’s really cool?
During the seminar I was just blasting out information like a fire hose and hoping you guys could keep up.
Then I get this letter today…
Hi Scott,
First, thanks so much for a great teleseminar last evening. I think this
perfect day approach is setting off some rapid-fire clicks!I wanted to just share a thought with you - the most important question I
heard last night (which I didn’t realize this morning when I woke up with a
messy kitchen) is What do I have to do every day to… Read More

2 Comments Topic: Fun Stuff, Motivation, Personal Growth(Jump to the Tele-seminar Registration)
Before I get all excited about the “How To Create My Perfect Day” Tele-Seminar this Wednesday night at 8 pm eastern - I want to tell you about my weekend.
It’s Tuesday morning right now and I can feel the change in my body after working out – something I really needed after enjoying myself in restaurants all weekend long, while fully testing the MTM concepts I teach everyday… and they really work!
Actually, it was kind of fun to have Joi with me, eating her salad and saying, “I know we workout so we can go out… but you ARE going to get back on track on Tuesday right?”
Anyway, after my weekend of fun, in under an hour I’m magically back on track and feeling pretty good about it.
I tell you this cool story because part of my own Perfect… Read More

Creating Your Perfect Day… TODAY!
0 Comments Topic: Personal GrowthHave you ever wished you could create your perfect day… every day?
Even since I began talking about creating the “Perfect Day” a couple of weeks ago on my Daily Boost Podcast, one thing has become really clear - everybody has a “dream day” in their mind but they don’t know how to create it in real life.
No worries - you’ve already done the hard part!
Living your perfect day is really as simple as recognizing the experience you want to live every day of your life.
Where do you want to live? What kind of car do you drive? Who are your friends? What kind of food do you eat?
You probably already have the answer to those questions somewhere in your mind… but if you don’t… here’s a little trick that will help.
One of my core Motivation To Move questions… Read More

Hi Carlyn,
I had registered for the program but then realized it was going to be taking place on nights when I am in school.
I just got done listening to session one and it was fantastic! I am glad we had the opportunity to download it.
Will this option be available for the other sessions? Do I need to register for each session or was I registered for all of them when I registered for the first one?
Thanks!
Andrea

Kalleen - So glad you’re enjoying the SMSM so far! You’re right - this first workshop was aimed more toward creating a foundation for fitness. Each of the workshops are following along with each week of the Start Moving Stay Moving, so in the next 3 sessions we’ll be focusing less on how to get started, and more on how to incorporate a healthy lifestyle for the long term. Here’s what’s coming in the next few weeks:
Workshop #2: “How Bad Do I Want It?”
Feb 10 7pm eastern
Workshop #3: “How Do I Want To Feel?”
Feb 17 (time TBA)
Workshop #4: “Stay Moving For Life - Tricks to Making It Stick”
Feb 24 (time TBA)
Hope to see you there!
