Release Stress While Getting Creative
2 Comments Topic: Fun StuffOver the years, I’ve found one of the best ways to relieve stress is also a great way to get creative.
Every week I produce 11 programs, take several coaching calls, work on my website, my book, and usually speak in front of an audience. With so much going on, it can be easy to lose track of where I’m heading… unless I take the time to remember.
This weekend I had a few hours to myself while my daughter and Joi spent time on pre-wedding plans. To me… that meant jump on the motorcycle and see where it took me.
It was a beautiful day, about 72°, and not a cloud in the sky when I jumped on my Harley and rode for about 45 minutes until I ended up in the little town of Cassadaga.
I’ve been to Cassadaga many times in the past as I’ve studied and learned – it is a… Read More

The FUSION Conference Will Blow You Away - In A Good Way
1 Comments Topic: Motivation
Every day, we get a couple of more folks committing to attending the FUSION event and they are all saying the same thing, “I want to meet my fellow Motivation To Move members”, and “I want MY click”.
FUSION will do both!
If early registrations are an indicator, some of the most successful and motivating MTM members will be among the 125 exclusive attendees - and many of those same folks will be looking for their “click” - that moment in time when you “get it” and figure out how to lose weight, shape up and create a happy life.
You can bet we’ll be passing out buckets of “click” during the FUSION weekend.
I’ll be passing along more details next week but you can get an early peak by visiting - FUSION Conference, March 21-22, 2009

Flight Plan For Life
0 Comments Topic: FlyingAs a pilot, I’m always using two of the best tools ever created: A Check List and a Flight Plan.
The Check List is something all pilots use to make sure they’ve done everything required to have a safe flight. That’s why I call it a “did I do it” list! It’s a great asset and make it so we don’t have to remember everything - we just check the list. Cool right?
The Flight Plan is another great tool used for all IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) and can be used for VFR (Visual Flight Rules). It’s just a way of making sure you’ve have thought through every possible detail… and let others know what you’re up to.
I find both of these tools useful in the air… and in life.
Over the years, Motivation To Move listeners have enjoyed my flying metaphors and this week is loaded with them. Be sure to check out Read More

Motivation To Move Has The Coolest Members
0 Comments Topic: Fun StuffSay “Hello” to my friend and Motivation To Move Premium and MasterMIND member Paula!
Paula and I have been friends for years - ever since she attended my classes in Lake Mary over five years ago.
I remember many great times together until Paula moved to San Francisco and we lost track. Then… guess what? She discovered Motivation To Move’s tops rated podcasts on iTunes and joined Motivation To Move right away.
Paula is also a great contributor to the Motivation To Move Personal Development Community - be sure to stop in and say hello.
On a recent trip back to Orlando, Paula stopped in for a quick lunch with me and Joi.
Thanks Paula!

Hi Carlyn,
I had registered for the program but then realized it was going to be taking place on nights when I am in school.
I just got done listening to session one and it was fantastic! I am glad we had the opportunity to download it.
Will this option be available for the other sessions? Do I need to register for each session or was I registered for all of them when I registered for the first one?
Thanks!
Andrea

Kalleen - So glad you’re enjoying the SMSM so far! You’re right - this first workshop was aimed more toward creating a foundation for fitness. Each of the workshops are following along with each week of the Start Moving Stay Moving, so in the next 3 sessions we’ll be focusing less on how to get started, and more on how to incorporate a healthy lifestyle for the long term. Here’s what’s coming in the next few weeks:
Workshop #2: “How Bad Do I Want It?”
Feb 10 7pm eastern
Workshop #3: “How Do I Want To Feel?”
Feb 17 (time TBA)
Workshop #4: “Stay Moving For Life - Tricks to Making It Stick”
Feb 24 (time TBA)
Hope to see you there!
