Creating a Great Ride in 2009
2 Comments Topic: MotivationWith all the change that has happened in the 2008 - you can bet there will be more than a few interesting “opportunities” in this coming year.
That’s probably why, as I begin 2009, I find my mind and my life to be focused, streamlined and filled with excitement.
Yes, I’m hunkering down and building a strong foundation like many folks. That’s just smart.
But I’m also looking for opportunities to create value and that has me running forward as fast as I can – and loving every minute of it.
No, there are no big goals for me this year – just the continuation of those that have been building momentum for the past few years and are just beginning to arrive in my life.
To get there, I’ll just keep moving with my hundreds of small, step-by-step goals that get done every day.

0 Comments Topic: Fun Stuff Listen To The Audio With This PostIt happens to all of us when we bring self-improvement into our lives.
When we start something “new”, a business, a workout program, a relationship, we’re always excited in the beginning. Then… day to day sets in.
In Seth Godin’s book, “The Dip”, he explains this is the time we need to evaluate whether we’re on the right track.
If so… just keep moving forward until things begin to roll into phase two. If not… you might want to consider a change of course.
The concept is so powerful The Daily Boost episode, “Surviving The Dip”, was THE MOST downloaded program of 2008 and came in at number one. Very cool!
TOMORROW IS THE DAY!
The 2008 Master’s Vault goes on sale TOMMORROW at 11:57 am while supplies last.
We sell out every year and I expect this year will be no different.

2008 Top 10 Countdown: #4 – How To Set And Achieve Goals
0 Comments Topic: Fun Stuff Listen To The Audio With This PostHave you ever wondered why you don’t get what you want in your life consistently?
I’ve done this Motivation To Move personal growth thing for a few years now and I can tell you the most common reason is the inability to set and achieve goals - in that order.
As simple as is sounds - you must become great at the goal setting process before you can consistently achieve your goals and make your life better.
In the 4th most popular Daily Boost episode of 2008, “How To Set and Achieve Goals”, I took an entire personal development seminar worth of information and squeezed it into 9 minutes and it was a hit that really worked.
By the way…
Be sure to make a note to visit Motivation To Move on Thursday, December 11th to pick up your copy of the 2008 Master’s Vault.

0 Comments Topic: Fun Stuff Listen To The Audio With This PostTony is my friend and was best man in my wedding - he’s also a Personal Trainer and Self-Improvement nut and we’ve shared many great conversations over the years.
In 2008, Tony and I were chatting about Personal Growth and he asked me, “What are your standards when you do something?”
Well, my answer was simple, “It will be great… or it won’t be”. In other words, if the experience is not going to be great… why even start?
That comment really had an impact on Tony and ended up being the 5th most popular Daily Boost episode of 2008.
Speaking of great…

2008 Top 10 Countdown: #6 – Who Am I?
0 Comments Topic: Fun Stuff Listen To The Audio With This PostOne of the biggest questions folks ask when they first start down the self-improvement trail is “Who Am I?”
In fact, it is usually a question that has been in the back of their mind for years by the time they actually do something about it.
Asking “Who Am I?” is a great question because it begins a way of thinking that will transform your life… IF… you follow the clues the answers give.
The Daily Boost Episode, “Who Am I?” I released this year really hit home with lots of folks and came in at number 6 for the year.
Of course, this episode is part of the 2008 Master’s Vault that will be released next Thursday at 11:57 am so make sure you are there when the doors open.

Hi Carlyn,
I had registered for the program but then realized it was going to be taking place on nights when I am in school.
I just got done listening to session one and it was fantastic! I am glad we had the opportunity to download it.
Will this option be available for the other sessions? Do I need to register for each session or was I registered for all of them when I registered for the first one?
Thanks!
Andrea

Kalleen - So glad you’re enjoying the SMSM so far! You’re right - this first workshop was aimed more toward creating a foundation for fitness. Each of the workshops are following along with each week of the Start Moving Stay Moving, so in the next 3 sessions we’ll be focusing less on how to get started, and more on how to incorporate a healthy lifestyle for the long term. Here’s what’s coming in the next few weeks:
Workshop #2: “How Bad Do I Want It?”
Feb 10 7pm eastern
Workshop #3: “How Do I Want To Feel?”
Feb 17 (time TBA)
Workshop #4: “Stay Moving For Life - Tricks to Making It Stick”
Feb 24 (time TBA)
Hope to see you there!
