The Devil is in the Details
February 11 0 CommentsAre you one of those folks who’s fixin’ to get ready to start a diet and you’re currently in the research stage? Be careful, you’re fixin’ to fail.
If you’re spending some time right now starting a diet and exercise plan or right in the middle of one and you are a “detail” person, you might be in trouble. Here’s what I mean.
You’ve heard the phrase, “the Devil is in the Details” and it’s true.
With all the information that’s available about diet and exercise, if you focus too tightly on the details you are destiny to fail. That’s because you get overloaded with information with little meaning – and you’re focus is too to tight to see the big picture.
And if you’re a detail person – you’ve just found as many excuses as you can dig up to fail. So what’s the trick. Keep it simple. Relax and take your time. Eat less, exercise more. Be flexible and measure your results.
In time, you’ll pick up the information in all those details and it will simply become part of what you do.
Hey, it’s all about moving… do some now so you can do more later.
